A. Prof. Elbaz I. Abouelmagd, National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG), Egypt

Main research interests are studying the behavior of the dynamical system, which describe the physical phenomena. In particular, the astronomical dynamical systems, that are concerning with the problems of celestial mechanics and space dynamics. More precisely, my research is oriented to study the motion of infinitesimal bodies under the effect of various perturbing forces and analyze the stability of motion. Furthermore, I am using some perturbing methods to find the periodic solutions, or numerical techniques to evaluate  the possible solutions. This is one of most interesting fields in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. In Space Science, Mathematical Physics  and  Astrophysics fields:  I have published many international papers, all of them are in Impacted International Journal, indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Also, I have reviewed hundreds of papers papers for many International and high potential Journals in the aforementioned fields.  I have also participated in many international scientific projects, some of them have been completed and the other are still under development. Prof. Igor Balagansky, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Russia

Igor Balagansky is Doctor of Science, Professor, Member of  Dissertation  Boards in Novosibirsk State Technical University, Federal Expert in Scientific and Technical Sphere. His biographical data are included in the 19th Edition of “Who’s Who in the World”, 2002, and the 7th Edition of “Who’s Who in Science and Engineering”, 2003, and after Editions. Professor Balagansky served as Head of Gas Dynamic Device Department Novosibirsk State Technical University before 2015. He has authored (with Professor Merzhievsky) well known among professionals in Russia book «The action of weapons and ammunition», which was published in 2004, and second edition in 2011 and 2012 by NSTU Publishing House. Professor Balagansky is known expert in explosive technologies and explosion protection spheres. He is the recipient of some awards and grants. His Research grants: Russian Foundation for Basic Research, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2014; Ministry of Education, Russia, 2000; Association of Russian Technical Universities, 1993; International Foundation “Cultural Initiative”, 1992. Explosion systems based on high explosive charges including high modulus ceramic elements, having sound velocity greater then detonation velocity, are investigated under his leadership. Surprising energy focusing phenomenon in the explosion systems including high modulus ceramic elements is discovered. This phenomenon is realized due to the Mach stem formation during the propagation of a convergent detonation wave into highly compressed but not detonated HE. The phenomenon is reproduced in numerical simulation with maximum value of pressure in passive HE charge of 1.25 Mbar. Nonstationary detonation processes in cylindrical HE charges placed in silicon carbide shells are investigated. These processes are associated with the emergence and convergence to the symmetry axis of the transverse waves in detonation front. The opportunity to use acceleration devices based on HE charge containing high modulus ceramic tube for generation of ceramic streams with velocities up to 11.0 - 25 km/s is experimentally substantiated. Results of research of protective properties of high modulus dispersed media are described. As regards the estimation of the damping properties of the media studied, it should be noted the porous media are effective energy absorbers under dynamic loads.

As the result, the described systems can be used at designing of generators of ultra-high pressure, for acceleration of matter to ultra-high speeds, for creation of protective containers for storage and transportation of HE. (MORE)
